“You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength” – Jesus (The Bible, Mark 12:30, New Living Translation).

These words of Jesus make it clear that God wants ALL of us. He doesn’t want half-hearted devotion or “I’ll-serve-you-when-I-have-time-or-get-around-to-it” followers. He demands no less than our all. He wants ALL our love, ALL our soul, ALL our mind, and ALL our strength.

This means that we must be fanatically, completely, wholly and totally sold out to Jesus. Nothing less pleases the Father.

I’ve seen football fans that wear their team’s colors, paint their faces, and wear all kinds of crazy outfits to show how sold out they are to their team. And they talk about their team every chance they get. They’re truly sold out!

Oh that we could be this sold out to God – with ALL our heart! Are you sold out to God?
